Gambro is a global medical technology company that manufactures products for dialysis treatment. The company is a global leader in developing, manufacturing, and supplying products and therapies for kidney and liver dialysis, Myeloma Kidney Therapy, and other extracorporeal therapies for chronic and acute patients.

Gambro employees are overworked with long hours and understaffed and there's no telemetry monitoring for patients, according to a former employee at

"During my short work experience with Gambro at Bayshore hospital, I felt overworked and understaffed. I was on call for 2 hospitals simultaneously and often worked long hours. We had no telemetry monitoring for patients and often could not even isolate patients."

"I enjoyed working at Davita and stayed with them for 7 years. I loved the patients-we really got to know them since they came at least 3 times a week. It was a serious work envirements since they were all on dialysis machines and needed to be monitored at all times. The staff was great-we all worked together to get the job done. Unfornately I fell at home and smashed my wrist and had to have 3 surgeries and physical theray after each one. I was out so long that they had to fill the space with a live person they could count on being there. I was not able to do that at that time.four day work week"

"Misleading advertising, and awful customer service. They advertise / sell on but advertise you will receive 6 items when they only ship one. They are aware of this issue but don't change it. Also they refuse to add on to an order (even though it hasn't shipped) saying you have to reorder. Which means another hefty shipping charge. Horrible customer service."
